Say NO to Political Correctness – Dwayne Yoseph Davis Edition
Political Correctness or being “Politically Correct” (abbreviated PC) is a denigratory term showing contempt by using language, actions, or policies to describe in a way not to offend those in or associated with a certain group of individuals in society.
Here are some examples of PC terms:
Criminal – unsavory character
Crook – morally (ethically) challenged
Alcoholic – Anti-Sobriety Activist
Alive – temporarily metabolically able.
Immigrant – a newcomer
PC is running rapid in the church today. It has partnered with the “grace and prosperity messages” and now, people are becoming less and less convicted when they sin. The pastors desire to please the people by telling them what they want to hear. Even when they preach on sin, they in a calculated way, choose words that won’t offend, to keep the church attendance up and the money coming in.
When did PC become more important than the Most High’s commandments given in the Tanach and Yahusha’s commandments, John 14:15 says, “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” The question that you may have now is – what were Yahusha’s commandments?
Let’s look at Matthew (Mattithyahu) 5:1-48:
1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his Talmidiym (disciples) came unto him:
2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
3 Blessed [are] the poor in ruach (spirit): for theirs is the Kingdom of YAHUAH.
4 Blessed [are] they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
5 Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
6 Blessed [are] they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
7 Blessed [are] the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed [are] the pure in heart: for they shall see The Most High.
9 Blessed [are] the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of YAHUAH.
10 Blessed [are] they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of YAHUAH.
11 Blessed are ye, when [men] shall revile you, and persecute [you], and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great [is] your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a menorah; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the Torah, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
SIDE NOTE: Yahusha’s coming is an accomplished work. Keep in mind that He is coming AGAIN. He completes that which was incomplete. He’s the ultimate finisher John 19:30 he said, “it is finished” which was referring to the debt owed as a result of sin which had been paid in full.
NO MORE animal sacrifices BUT, Romans (Romaiym) 12:1 tells us that we should offer bodies (flesh) a LIVING SACRAFICE unto YAHUAH. We see that although animal sacrifices were done away with, we still are to kill this flesh by way of sacrifice, and if we are honest with ourselves, sometimes we don’t want to. We must also renew our minds, Romans (Romaiym) 12:2.
The fulfilment of Yahusha’s coming has not been totally complete, the 1st coming has taken place; however, we are still awaiting His 2nd coming.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one Yod or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the Torah, till all be fulfilled.
SIDE NOTE: Heaven and Earth have not yet passed away which means ALL has not been FULFILLED yet.
19 Whosoever therefore shall BREAK one of these LEAST COMMANDMENTS, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of YAHUAH: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of YAHUAH.
20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall EXCEED [the righteousness] of the scribes and Pharashiym (Pharisees), ye shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of YAHUAH.
SIDE NOTE: Remember that the Pharashiym didn’t understand that keeping the Torah without a change of heart meant that they were keeping it in vein. Not only were they judgmental when it came to keeping the Torah, they were also condemning when it came to keeping the Tradition of the Elders, better known as the Babylonian Talmud (Mark 7:5) which is a compilation of rabbinical exegesis regarding Torah, ethics, customs and how to do and or keep them.
The Pharashiym at times would set aside the commandments of the Most High in order to keep the Tradition of the Elders. Yahusha addressed this in Mark 7:9. So even in keeping the Torah, they would lift up their eyes in sheol because their hearts were corrupt.
The Pharashiym sought after their own righteousness, not understanding that their righteousness would only come through Yahusha Hamashiach. We CANNOT keep the commandments old and new testament combined in our flesh. We CANNOT obtain our own righteousness. That is why Yahusha came and gave us grace through HIM to keep them. He was the ultimate sacrifice for the atonement of sin. If we fall, sin no longer has power over us as it once did. This does NOT mean that you go on sinning so that grace may abound or increase (Romans (Romaiym) 6:1)…NO…we have to recognize that there was a transference of power and that power was given to us in order to walk victoriously over sin and death.
21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, You fool, shall be in danger of Gey Hinnom (Lake of Fire).
23 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there rememberest that your brother has ought against you;
24 Leave there your gift before the altar, and go your way; first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.
25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison.
26 Amein I say unto you, You shall by no means come out thence, till you have paid the uttermost farthing.
27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, You shall not break wedlock:
28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looks on a woman to lust after her has broken wedlock with her already in his heart.
29 And if your right eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast [it] from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not [that] your whole body should be cast into Gey Hinnom.
30 And if your right hand offend you, cut it off, and cast [it] from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not [that] your whole body should be cast into Gey Hinnom.
31 It has been said, Whosoever shall put away his woman (wife), let him give her a writing of divorcement:
32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his woman (wife), saving for the cause of fornication, causes her to break wedlock: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced breaks wedlock.
33 Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, You shall not forswear yourself, but shall perform unto the The Most High your oaths:
34 But I say unto you, Swear not falsely; neither by heaven; for it is YAHUAH’S throne:
35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Yerushalayim (Jerusalem); for it is the city of the great King.
36 Neither shall you swear by your head, because you cannot make one hair white or black.
37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these comes of evil.
38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if any man will sue you at the Torah, and take away your coat, let him have [your] cloke also.
41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42 Give to him that asks you, and from him that would borrow of you turn not away.
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he makes his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more [than others]? do not even the publicans so?
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Before we move on, there’s one more scripture that we should reference, Matthew (Mattithyahu) 22:32-40, Mark 12:26-31 also gives us an account; but we will use Matthew’s account. one of the scribes asked Yahusha which commandment was the 1st. Yahusha replies in verses 30, “And you shall love Yahuah with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as thyself. 40 On these TWO COMMANDMENTS HANG ALL THE TORAH AND THE PROPHETS.”
The 1st deals with the first five commandments and the 2nd deals with the last five of the 10 commandments. So we can clearly see how Yahusha summed up the 10 commandments with two points and concluded that there were none greater than those two (stated in Mark’s account) because ALL 10 HUNG under one or the other.
Yahusha was not politically correct. His desire to be obedient to TMH placed him in situations to invalidate the scribes and Pharashiym’s arguments and statements; and in doing so, He exposed their false teachings and hypocrisies. The only way to reveal with light what is being hidden in the dark is to speak what thus saith YAHUAH from His Word.
People sugar coat in order to make the information given more appetizing. Yahusha offended many and was not dumbed down, weakened, swayed or manipulated into changing his stance by their offense. Sugar coating creates an environment that breeds justification of sin. That justification of sin is the incubator for rebellion.
We are living in a time where rebellion is immense.
“WOE to the rebellious children, says YAHUAH, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of RUACH, that they may add sin to sin:” (Isaiah (Yesha’yahu) 30:1)
Further down in verse 10 YAHUAH tells us that these are rebellious people who say to the seers, see not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: PC is just another form of speaking “smooth things.” It is deceiving and will lead to iniquities.
We MUST speak the TRUTH and it must be in love (Ephesians 4:15). This is the only way to insure that the Body of Hamashiach is working effectually, only then, will it edify itself in love. Only then will we put off the deceitful lusts of the flesh, put off lies, learn how to be angry but sin not and stand for righteousness and holiness because they are right.
Political Correctness has no place in the Kingdom of YAHUAH. SAY NO and say yes to precepts Old and New Testament together.
